100% Pure Glycerin Concentrate Lichen and organic materials used in model scenery will dry out and become brittle after time. When Glycerin is lightly applied it replaces the natural moisture with emollients similar to skin softening lotions. It is recommended that your scenery be treated periodically with Glycerin to retain its original suppleness and color. Mixing a Spray/Misting Solution Glycerin may be mixed with hot water and rubbing alcohol to make an effective spray for most scenery applications. Mix together a solution of: 4 oz. Concentrated Glycerine 8 oz. Rubbing Alcohol 1 Quart Boiling Water Mix first with boiling water to dissolve Glycerin. Allow to cool. Add rubbing alcohol. Mist liberally over lichen. The alcohol will speed the evaporation of the water leaving the Glycerin to penetrate and condition the lichen. Repeat as often as necessary. Not recommended for children under 10 years. Non-Toxic |
