HO-Scale Black Track Tack (B.T.T.) offers the model railroader this better alternative to cork, vinyl or foam-style roadbed for its simple appplication and instant hold. Simply PRESS your track and ballast into B.T.T.'s tacky surface and have instant adhesion! Imagine track work without the use of frustrating nails and long setting glues. Measures 1/8" thick x 1½" wide by 30 ft. continuous roll. (O-Scale (SE0010) is 2½" wide).
INSTRUCTIONS: Simply unroll B.T.T. on your smooth train platform, PRESS your track into B.T.T.'s tacky surface and have instant adhesion! B.T.T. can be cut and pieced together easily for more complex track plans. For this reason, B.T.T. works well with all scales! It can be slit to any size for specific gauge width. The O-Scale can be cut in half for cost effective HO applications or in thirds for N-Scale.
Pieces can be layed side-by-side for switches and turnouts! B.T.T. will never dry out and remains tacky for years! B.T.T. instantly holds ballast in place too! Just spread ballast over the track ties and taper your bevel. Next, PRESS the ballast into the tacky surface and your ballast should adhere securely!
**NOTE: Even though B.T.T. will hold the ballast in place, we still recommend that you fix the ballast permanently with a good coating of Matte Medium (EX0010)!. B.T.T. is thin. It is only 1/8' thick by 1½" wide and comes in a continuous 30 ft. roll.
